I would highly recommend purchasing a car from them. They are very honest and fair. The whole experience was pleasurable. Moneta is a beautiful town and definitely worth a road trip if you have the time. :)
I bought a 1984 Mercedes Turbo Diesel from Michael and Teri (owners of Springlake Auto) and was very pleased with the buying experience. The car was originally listed on Ebay and I wanted to visit the car in person. I live 6 hours away from their shop in Moneta, Va and they agreed to meet me at South Of The Border on 95 for the purchase of the car. They arrived on time and were very thorough in telling me everything I should know about the car. They even showed me how the hood of my car can open straight up!

Been dealing with them 4 almost 6 years, 1st, red blazor, old,... but in my price range. Was told after a year of good payment history could trade in 4 newer, after 2 years of excellent payment history I did trade in for a very nice jeep laredo. After 1 year and 2 times of the westlake garage, that they work with,...looking at, telling me the proablem I was having was "normal" with jeeps, the transmission went OUT! I had to pay close to 2,500 for rebuilt transmission. After speaking with them again about this, they gave me 1 free month payment, only 300.00!! " wow" Within the next year I had to replace a starter, a recall on ingintion & tires!!! All within the LESS then 2 years I had it!!! At last the battery wouldnt hold a charge I took back to them after repeatly telling me after a year of good payment I could trade again!! I go back to them, I never missed a payment, I was never late on a payment & I was repeatly told they never let a good customer leave unhappy!! I go back to trade in on another, only this time for an older year & more miles vehicle. They demand a 2,ooo.oo down on top of my jeep. VERY unhappy, they begin to tell me how employees have stolen large sums of money, how they have had to repo many of thier vehicles, how they only have a few vehicles on the lot, my response was " dont sound good, nor does it make me even a tad bit concerned about you guys doing bad buisness, NOR DOES IT NOT HAVE ONE THING TO DO WITH ME BEING TOLD AFTER 12 MONTHS OF GOOD PAYMENTS I COULD TRADE" Not only was I an on time payer, great, great customer, I was told I'd never leave unhappy. They let me leave! After my boyfriend seen how they did me, we went back with the 2,000.00 for the trade in on an older model with more miles. We got it. Now I go back 3 weeks later to pay & get my tags, have fix side mirror & put gps in. They quickly accept my $464.00 for transfer of tags & tittle. Now my jeep only was about 4,500.00 payoff left, they claim they did. Not only recieved my 2,000.00 I see my jeep on lot 4 sale 4 (((7,900.00))), I was irate!!! No concern for my feelings!! They took a great customer & took what they could by all means because of thier employees stealing from them & bad customers not paying. This is the very last vehicle I get from them, & I will not give anyone a good review on them!!! I will never suggest anyone with good payment history deal with them!! Take it from a very good customer of theirs, I'm very disapointed, & never another dealings with them after this vehicle!!!
